Directional drilling, also known as horizontal or directional boring, is a trenchless method used to install underground pipe, cable, or conduit along a prescribed bore path using specialized rigs. This process lowers installation costs while creating minimal impact on the surrounding landscape, making it an excellent alternative to traditional trenching or excavation. It is especially effective for projects that involve road or river crossings, where ground disturbance must be minimized
